Marula Oil: Our story starts at the source

The Marula fruit is a natural resource that forms an integral part of the culture and survival of the Shangaan population in Southern Africa. The Marula fruit matures in late summer and is wild harvested. Both the Marula fruit and the nut’s kernel is highly nutritious. We only process organic Marula Oil.

MOZaic walks with communities in rural Mozambique to raise the standard of living through income generation activities. With extensive research and the help of our support network, a co-operation developed to help young women, mothers and widows, but ultimately the whole community, to create a sustainable income through Marula Oil processing.
